Island Beach
Location: Wood Island ferry terminal,
off Rte.1
White sandy beach at high tide and the red sand with a gradual
incline at low tide. Take a shovel and bucket and dig for the
clams and Bar clams when the tide is really low. Located right
At the ferry terminal you’ll find food and bathroom Facilities.

Beach
Point
Location: Beach Point, Rte. 18
Beach Point Beach is great in high or low tides. The high tides
make it excellent for a day at the beach sunbathing, swimming
or birdwatching. If the tide is low make sure you take a shovel
and bucket, as the clams will be plentiful. If you like to beach
comb walk the white sand and red sand looking for treasures
of sand dollars. There are no facilities. |

Off Rte. 17
White sandy beach and seals are what you will experience at
Poverty Beach. Take a picnic and spend the day swimming and
sunbathing. There are no facilities. |

Seal
Cove Beach
Location: Murray Harbour North,
Off Rte. 17
White Sandy beach for you to enjoy as you watch the seal colony
play in the water. Also on site is a campground, picnic area,
swimming pool and golf.
